The site is operated by S.C. FANDORIA S.R.L.. Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. The cookies below are strictly necessary, so under Romanian Law no. 506/2004 and the ePrivacy Directive they do not require your consent.
Cookies we use
- er_consent — remembers that you have seen our cookie notice. 6 months.
- _lscache_vary — used by our caching system to serve the right version of a page. Session.
- comment_author_* — set only if you comment and tick “Save my name”; fills in your details next time. 1 year.
- wordpress_*, wp-settings-* — set only for editors who sign in to manage the site.
Local storage
We also store two small values in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device and are not used for tracking:
- er_reads (session storage) — counts how many articles you have opened during the current visit, so the newsletter invitation only appears to regular readers. Deleted when you close the browser tab.
- er_nl_hide (local storage) — remembers that you closed the newsletter invitation, so we don’t show it again for 30 days.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics, embedded media or anything else that sets non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
Managing cookies
You can review our notice at any time with the round cookie button in the corner of the page or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
